PRESIDENT
The Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison – 13th President of the LC-MS (2010-present). With President Harrison’s guidance and support, the LCMS has nearly doubled the number of missionaries in the field to about 100 full-time career missionaries and 144 military service chaplains; has launched the Global Seminary Initiative with $3.8 million to send our seminary professors overseas and bring overseas students here to our seminaries; has renewed a focus on outreach with Everyone His Witness (evangelism), re:Vitality (congregational renewal), and church-planting resources; begun the Set Apart to Serve church-worker recruitment initiative; through Making Disciples for Life has offered resources and conferences addressing contemporary issues facing congregations; and is expanding international relations with more churches like ours.
FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT
The Rev. Peter K. Lange – First Vice-President of the LCMS (2019-present). Previous full-time service: District President LCMS Kansas District (2015-19); parish pastor in Topeka, KS (1999-2015) and Concordia, MO (1990-99). Other service: Secretary to the LC-MS Council of Presidents (2018-2019); Synod think-tank for the Koinonia Project (2015); Kansas District Board of Caring Ministry (2012-15); LCMS Task Force for National Youth Gatherings (2005); author of CPH Sunday School Materials (2004); Lutheran Layman’s League Zone Advisor, MO District.

VICE-PRESIDENT EAST/SOUTHEAST
The Rev. Christopher S. Esget – East/Southeast Regional Vice-President (2015-present). Full-time service: parish pastor in Alexandria, VA (2001-present) and DuQuoin, IL (1998-2001). Other service: Sanctity of Human Life Commission (2009-17); Board of Regents, Concordia College, New York (2017- 21); Southeastern District Life Coordinator (2014-present); LCMS Washington, D.C. Life Conferences and March for Life chaplain (2002-present); instructor, Liturgical Theology and Church Music, EECMY (Ethiopia).
VICE-PRESIDENT CENTRAL
The Rev. Benjamin T. Ball – Central Regional Vice-President (2019-present). Full-time service: parish pastor in Hamel, IL (2012-present), Brookfield, IL (2004-12) and Dedham, MA (1999-2004). Other service: Pastor-in-Residence, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (2002); supervisor of Field Workers, Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis (2015-present); chairman, Comm. for Convention Nominations (2019- present); Board of Directors, Metro-East Lutheran High School, Edwardsville, IL (2017-present).
VICE-PRESIDENT GREAT LAKES
The Rev. Dr. John C. Wohlrabe – Great Lakes Regional Vice-President (2013-present). Full-time service: Chaplain, U.S. Navy (1987-2009); parish pastor in Geneseo, IL (2009-12) and Fort Lupton, CO (1982-84); instructor, Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis (1984-86); and Assistant Director, Concordia Historical Institute, Saint Louis (1986-87). Other service: editor-in-chief, Concordia Historical Institute Quarterly (2012-present); adjunct professor, Concordia University, Wisconsin (2013-present). Thirty-two military awards.
VICE-PRESIDENT GREAT PLAINS
The Rev. Nabil S. Nour – Great Plains Regional Vice-President (2013-present). Full-time service: parish pastor in Hartford, SD (2015-present) and Armour, SD (1994-2015). Other service: LCMS Conflict Resolution Officer (2008-present); South Dakota District 1st Vice-President (2012-13); South Dakota District 2nd Vice-President (2006-12); leading tours of the Holy Land (1994-present). Vice-President Nour is a native of Nazareth, Israel.
VICE-PRESIDENT WEST/SOUTHWEST
The Rev. Dr. Scott Murray – West/Southwest Regional Vice-President (2010-present). Full-time service: parish pastor in Houston, TX (1996-present), Gretna, LA (1985-96), and Coburg, ON (1983-85). Other service: LCMS Commission on Theology and Church Relations (1995-2001), Vice-Chair (1998-2001); board member of the Lutheran Education Association of Houston (2001-07); Board of Regents, Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (2010-present).
